We are thrilled to present a live performance by members of the critically acclaimed Furia Flamenca Dance Company, featuring world-class artists whose resumes span from the Kennedy Center Honors to the Washington National Opera.

Meet the Artists

• Estela Vélez de Paredez (Dancer): Artistic Director and founder of Furia Flamenca, Estela was trained by master Antonio Santaella and has trained with top international flamenco legends. Her notable work includes performing at the 2021 Kennedy Center Honors (Justino Díaz tribute) and choreographing award-winning productions across the US, Puerto Rico, and Central America.

• Daniel Paredez (Dancer): Lead soloist for Furia Flamenca, Daniel has performed on prestigious stages including the Kennedy Center Honors and the Washington National Opera’s productions of Carmen and Don Giovanni.

• Juan Luis Romero (Guitarist & Singer): Founder of Fusion Jonda, Juan Luis is a multi-talented composer and musician who blends deep traditional cante and guitar with rich Caribbean, jazz, and tropical influences.
